Apigenin is a plant-flavonoid supplement that is commonly found in various plant substances and herbs like chamomile, parsley, basil, thyme, oregano, passion flower, celery, and guava. It acts as a free-radical scavenger and antioxidant that diminishes oxidative stress.
It is also abundant in many medicinal mushrooms like Agaricus blazei, shiitake, and maitake.
